I SAW SOMETHING ON YOUR SITE I LOVED BUT NOW IT IS GONE WHEN WILL YOU HAVE MORE? CAN I STILL BUY IT?
That is the beauty and tragedy of vintage clothing; when it is gone it is gone. Vintage is rare and when it sells out it is gone forever. We will not be getting more. It is important that if you love it you grab it quick so you don't regret it later. That said, we have thousands of items and we update daily so if you missed that last special piece there is a good chance something else that will make your heart flutter is coming very soon! Check back frequently and snap it up fast.
CAN I ADD SOMETHING TO AN ORDER I ALREADY PLACED?
Unfortunately we cannot add items to an existing order. Please place a new order for the item and contact us. We’ll be happy to combine shipping on this additional order if it is placed within 24 hours of the original order.
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
We cannot cancel orders after they are placed. Once your order hits our warehouse, it starts getting processed and then ships out to you.
I HAVE A COUPON CODE I AM TRYING TO USE DURING A SALE IT DOESN'T WORK?
You can not use coupon codes in conjunction with sales items and sales events. Coupon codes, including shop credits, are only active on regular priced items.
WHERE CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
Once your order has been shipped, if you are in North America or if your order value is over $200 you will get a confirmation email with tracking that can be monitored via www.canadapost.ca
I DIDN'T RECEIVE MY STORE CREDIT OR I LOST IT!
Just let us know and we will just resend it to you. You may want to check your spam mail for it.
CAN I SHOP AT/PICK UP FROM A VANGUARD VINTAGE STORE IN PERSON?
We're 100% online only. That means we're open 24/7 but we do not have a live shopable destination.
WHY WAS MY ORDER CANCELLED?
Due to an unforeseen event, the item you ordered was is no longer available. These cases are rare and in the off chance this occurs we will contact you within 48 hours to let you know. If your order contains additional items, these items will still be shipped to you and the unavailable item will be removed.
CAN I TALK TO SOMEONE OVER THE PHONE?
Yes you can. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your invoice, question, phone number, timezone and a few good time slots to call you and we will schedule a call at a mutually agreeable time between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday Eastern Standard Time.
CAN I GET A REFUND FOR MY RETURN?
We offer store credit, which never expires. Check out our return policies for details on our shop credit return policy.
DO YOU REFUND SHIPPING ON RETURNS?
Shipping is the buyers responsibility both ways. Your credit will be for the garment amount.
CAN I GET WHOLESALE PRICING? IF I ORDER A LOT OF ITEMS CAN I GET DISCOUNTED PRICING? CAN I GET THIS CHEAPER?
The prices on the items are firm. We do not offer wholesale. We do however have some really great sales so be sure to join our mailing list and follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to be the first to hear about our promotions.
CAN I SEE DIFFERENT PICTURES OF THIS GARMENT? THIS GARMENT ON ANOTHER MODEL, AT A DIFFERENT ANGLE, ETC...?

WHAT SIZE IS THIS GARMENT? WHAT SIZE DOES THE TAG SAY? WOULD THIS FIT ME?
We provide detailed measurements on all our listings. For the most part vintage sizes (tags) do not show up on garments until the 70s and they do not correlate with modern sizes. Modern sizes are not uniform or universal as they vary greatly between different brands and designers. Your best bet it to take your measurements and compare them to the detailed measurements provided in each listing. We use inches but if you use centimetres there are a lot of quick, easy, free online inch to centimetre conversion calculators readily available. include the conversion *
WHAT FABRIC IS THIS?
If the garment pre-dates the 70s it is very unlikely to have a fabric content tag. We give our best guess but we do not and will not conduct burn tests for insurance purposes so we can not always definitively say what the fabrication is. If the garment has a fabric content tag the fabric will be in the listing.
CAN I GET THIS IN A DIFFERENT SIZE, COLOUR, LENGTH ETC...?
Sorry, we sell authentic vintage found, pre-owned, garments. We do not make them. The odds of finding two identical garments, though not impossible, are not very good at all. We sell unaltered, authentic to found form, vintage. We do not provide alterations or modifications.
I GOT CHARGED CUSTOMS, TAXES, A VAT UPON DELIVERY WILL YOU COMPENSATE ME FOR THIS? *LOCAL CHARGE?
Vanguard Vintage is not responsible for any Customs Fees, VATS, or Taxes that your Country charges you, as a citizen, for importing goods. If you receive an additional charge upon arrival, that charge is imposed by your Country of citizenship on its citizens. It is not an additional charge that Vanguard Vintage sets or profits from. Please research your Country's import VATS, Taxes and Customs Fees prior to ordering items for import so that you do not have an unpleasant surprise upon arrival.
MY GARMENT DOESN'T FIT PERFECTLY. I LOVE IT AND WILL BE KEEPING IT BUT IT REQUIRES TAILORING. WILL YOU COVER THE COST?
Vintage is wonderful, rare, and all around awesome but it is also one of a kind and not cut to modern size standards. The odds of any vintage garment fitting as though it were tailored to the buyer are very low. Most items that are not free fit may need some tailoring. We do not cover, refund, or reimburse these charges so please consider this potential added cost prior to purchase and budget accordingly.
WHY ARE YOUR PRICES IN USD IF YOU ARE A CANADIAN COMPANY?
Yes we are a proud Canadian company that operates out of Toronto Ontario. 87% of our customers are American and as such we sell in USD. We find that USD in a universally understood currency and we will continue in the future to sell in USD.
